Role Overview: Primary School Teacher

As a Primary School Teacher at LAMIS, you will design and implement engaging lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). You will guide students through inquiry-based units of study, promote independent learning, and foster social-emotional growth. Collaboration with colleagues, ongoing assessment, and reflective practice will drive student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons based on IB PYP framework
• Foster student inquiry, creativity, and collaboration
• Use formative and summative assessment to guide instruction
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Participate in school-wide professional development and initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject
• Valid teaching license or equivalent certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
• Minimum of 2 years of primary-level teaching experience
• Familiarity with or training in the IB PYP is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Tech-savvy with experience integrating digital tools into instruction
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to lifelong learning
