Role Overview: Primary Science Teacher
The Primary Science Teacher will play a key role in nurturing young students’ understanding of the natural world. Through inquiry-based and hands-on learning, you will develop critical thinking skills and ignite scientific curiosity among learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and teach engaging, age-appropriate science lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom culture
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to reach diverse learners
- Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative methods
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance interdisciplinary learning
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
- Integrate digital tools and STEM activities to enrich learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching credential (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching primary-level science
- Familiarity with international curricula such as British Primary or IB PYP is a plus
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- Fluent English speaker with excellent written proficiency
- Energetic, collaborative, and committed to student-centered learning
