Role Overview: Primary Science Teacher
The Primary Science Teacher will deliver dynamic, hands-on instruction that develops students’ scientific literacy and curiosity. You will guide learners in making real-world connections while fostering inquiry, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging science lessons based on the UK National Curriculum
- Encourage critical thinking and scientific exploration through practical experiments
- Use varied assessment tools to monitor and support student progress
- Collaborate with teaching teams on cross-curricular planning
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues
- Support school events, enrichment activities, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Science, or a related subject
- Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Experience with the UK or international curriculum preferred
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Excellent English communication skills
