Role Overview: Primary Science Teacher
As a Primary Science Teacher, you will inspire curiosity and critical thinking through hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning. You will guide students in building a strong foundation in scientific principles while encouraging creativity, observation, and exploration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Science curriculum
- Use diverse teaching methods, including experiments, technology, and collaborative projects
- Create a classroom environment that promotes inquiry, safety, and mutual respect
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities
- Provide regular feedback to students and communicate effectively with parents
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience at the primary level
- Experience with the Cambridge curriculum is a strong advantage
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- A proactive, growth-minded, and collaborative teaching approach
