Role Overview: Primary Science Teacher (Cambridge)
As a Primary Science Teacher, you will lead engaging, hands-on lessons that ignite a love for discovery. You will play an essential role in building a strong science foundation in students while encouraging scientific inquiry and real-world application.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons based on the Cambridge Primary Science Curriculum
- Create interactive and inquiry-based learning experiences
- Monitor student understanding through varied assessment tools
- Integrate STEM-related activities and digital tools into science lessons
- Collaborate with colleagues to align cross-curricular projects
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular student progress updates
- Participate in school events, training sessions, and curriculum planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary or international schools
- Experience with the Cambridge curriculum is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- A proactive, collaborative, and growth-oriented teaching style
