Position: Primary Science Teacher
As a Primary Science Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging, hands-on science lessons that spark student curiosity and align with the Cambridge Primary Science curriculum. You will play a key role in building foundational scientific knowledge and inspiring students to explore the natural world with confidence and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach science to primary students in Key Stages 1 and 2
- Create interactive, inquiry-based lessons that encourage experimentation and exploration
- Use a range of assessment methods to monitor progress and provide feedback
- Integrate digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance learning outcomes
- Promote environmental awareness, critical thinking, and scientific reasoning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects
- Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the primary level
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Primary Science curriculum preferred
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High-level fluency in spoken and written English
- Passion for inquiry-based science instruction in a multicultural setting
- Self-motivated, innovative, and committed to continuous professional growth
