Role Overview: Primary Science Teacher
As a Primary Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons based on the Cambridge Primary Science curriculum. You will guide students in exploring scientific concepts, developing critical thinking skills, and conducting hands-on experiments. Your goal will be to foster curiosity, encourage observation, and help learners apply science to real-life situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach science across the primary age range using inquiry-based strategies
- Plan and implement interactive lessons that align with the Cambridge framework
- Design and assess activities that develop scientific knowledge and skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on cross-curricular learning opportunities
- Support school initiatives and extracurricular science events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or Science-related fields
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching primary science
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge or other international curricula
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Self-driven and committed to professional development
