Role Overview: Primary Teacher (Native English Speaker)
The Primary Teacher will develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning. You will create a supportive and inclusive classroom where each student feels valued and motivated to reach their full potential. This role requires active collaboration with teaching teams and communication with parents to support student success across all aspects of primary education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver innovative primary school lessons aligned with the Singapore-UK curriculum
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Assess and monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student development and classroom activities
- Participate actively in school initiatives, curriculum development, and professional development
- Utilize modern technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and supportive school culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in primary teaching or a similar role
- Native-level proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to continuous professional development
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents in a multicultural environment
