Role Overview: Primary Teacher
As a Primary Teacher, you will design and deliver lessons that build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies. You will create a supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued and challenged. You will also integrate Biblical values into teaching and encourage a love of learning through inquiry and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging, standards-based lessons across core subjects
- Monitor student progress and differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and instruction
- Communicate regularly with parents about student learning and development
- Contribute to school events, chapel services, and extracurricular activities
- Model Christian values and support the spiritual growth of students
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ classroom teaching experience
- Familiarity with American curriculum and Biblical integration preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- High level of English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
