This school is based in The Hague, Netherlands and is looking for a Class Teacher

We are currently seeking applications for experienced, qualified and passionate teachers for one of our year 2 classes from January 2025. This is a temporary position and would suit someone who is already experienced in teaching this age group, with experience of either the British National Curriculum for Literacy and Numeracy and/or the International Primary Curriculum. Ideally you will be already resident in The Netherlands with the right to work. We are looking for someone who will add to our team of enthusiastic educators. We offer a good level of support and the chance to be part of a vibrant Dutch-International school.

We seek applications from candidates who possess the following qualities:
● good interpersonal and organizational skills
● flexible team player
● sense of humour
● good ICT skills
● a willingness to learn the Dutch Language
● ability to work independently
● knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum and UK National Literacy and Numeracy Strategies is desired

All applicants must:
● have Qualified Teacher Status (Parts 1 and 2) (BEd or PGCE equivalent must be for primary education only). If you have been validated by DUO, please be sure to attach the validation advice with your application
● be fluent in English (C2 level)
● have experience of teaching the full primary curriculum to whole classes of children (this post is not suitable for EFL/ESL teachers)
● minimum two years teaching experience (NQTs are not eligible to apply)
● be eligible to live and work in the EU
● NEWLY QUALIFIED TEACHERS SHOULD NOT APPLY
