This school is based in Ollon, Switzerland and is looking for Primary Teachers.

La Garenne International School is a family-run international boarding and day school located in the picturesque Swiss Alps. We cater to 175 young people aged from 4 to 18, welcoming students from more than thirty countries. Our school provides a nurturing and dynamic learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality primary education to students, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Planning and implementing engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best teaching practices.
• Contributing positively to the school community, participating in school events and activities.
• Supporting the social and emotional well-being of students, fostering a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Utilizing technology to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Current teaching certification for Primary Education.
• Minimum 3 years of recent and relevant teaching experience at the primary level.
• Experience in an international school environment is advantageous.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid Swiss work permit or EU citizenship.
