Özel Büyük Kolej is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional resources to meet students’ diverse learning needs.
  • Incorporate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
• Classroom Management:
  • Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that supports learning.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Promote positive behavior and respect among students.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Assess students’ progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and tests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students’ academic performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents/guardians.
• Parental Engagement:
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to discuss students’ progress and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with parents to support students’ learning and development.
• Professional Development:
  • Stay informed about the latest educational practices and developments.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification in Primary Education.
• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching primary school students.
• Fluent in Turkish; proficiency in English is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of child development and primary education principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Proficient in using technology to support teaching and learning.

Preferred:

• Experience in an international or bilingual school setting.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches.
