This school is based in Dubai, UAE and is looking for a Primary School Class Teacher (Year 4).

Position Overview: The Arbor School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Class Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education following our sustainability-focused curriculum. You will create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with Arbor School’s curriculum and educational philosophy.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with varying abilities and English language proficiency.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance student understanding and achievement.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including Special Education staff, to support the holistic development of all students.
  • Implement Arbor School’s values of sustainability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility in classroom activities and projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior, adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with parents/guardians to update them on their child’s progress and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide events, contributing to the school community beyond the classroom.


Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification/license is required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting, preferably within the IB or similar curriculum framework.
  • Proven ability to create a positive learning environment and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional practices.
  • Knowledge of inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction, and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
