This school is based in Dubai, UAE and is looking for a Primary Teacher.

Position Overview: Sunmarke School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young learners and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering a high-quality curriculum that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that align with the school’s curriculum standards.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student participation and engagement.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess students’ progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and any concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and events.
  • Participate in professional development sessions, staff meetings, and school events.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, promoting the mission and values of Sunmarke School.
  • Foster a love of learning and inspire students to achieve academic excellence.


Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in an international school.
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with international school curricula and teaching methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the use of educational technology in the classroom.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
