National Education Teacher, Al Ra’ed Al Arabi School, Jordan

This school is based in Amman, Jordan and is looking for a National Education Teacher.

Al Ra’ed Al Arabi School is seeking a dedicated and experienced National Education Teacher to join our team. The National Education Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the field of National Education, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of Jordanian culture, history, and values.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive National Education curriculum that aligns with Jordanian educational standards and objectives.
• Create engaging and interactive lessons that promote students’ understanding of Jordanian culture, history, traditions, and values.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Foster critical thinking skills by encouraging students to analyze and evaluate information related to Jordanian society and culture.
• Organize and facilitate discussions, projects, and activities that promote active learning and student participation.
• Integrate current events, guest speakers, and field trips into the curriculum to provide real-world context and relevance.
• Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate National Education into interdisciplinary units and projects that promote cross-curricular connections.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay informed about best practices in National Education and pedagogy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Studies, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Teaching certification or qualification in National Education or a relevant subject area.
• Previous experience teaching National Education or related subjects at the middle or high school level.
• In-depth knowledge of Jordanian culture, history, and values.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to appreciate and understand their national identity and heritage.
