Job Summary:

Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS) in Kuwait is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our vibrant team. The Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to primary school students, fostering their academic and personal growth, and contributing to the overall mission and vision of FAIPS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
• Student Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and achievement.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and school administration.
• Classroom Management:
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Address and resolve any behavioral issues in a fair and consistent manner.
• Professional Development:
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
  • Engage in reflective practices to continually improve personal teaching effectiveness.
• School and Community Engagement:
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community programs.
  • Promote the values and mission of FAIPS both within the school and the broader community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification or license is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
• Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in student development.
