Role: Psychology Teacher (IGCSE & A-Level)
As a Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the IGCSE and A-Level Psychology syllabus. You will create engaging and thought-provoking lessons that cover key psychological theories, research methods, and applications. Supporting students’ exam preparation and critical thinking skills forms an important part of this role.
You will use a variety of teaching techniques and digital resources to enhance learning and maintain a stimulating classroom environment. Collaboration with fellow teachers and contribution to extracurricular activities will enrich the broader school experience. Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues remains essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience at IGCSE or A-Level
- In-depth knowledge of Psychology curriculum and assessment standards
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to professional development and innovative teaching practices
- Ability to use technology to support and enhance student learning
