Role: PYP Grade 5 Classroom Teacher

As a PYP Classroom Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum
• Encourage student agency, critical thinking, and collaborative learning
• Integrate subjects such as English, Maths, Science, and Social Studies into transdisciplinary themes
• Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress
• Foster a respectful, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with fellow educators to plan units of inquiry and school-wide events
• Maintain strong communication with parents and the school community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience, ideally in an IB PYP setting
• Strong understanding of the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based teaching
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
• Self-motivated, organized, and committed to ongoing professional development
• Ability to integrate educational technology to enhance learning outcomes
