Role: PYP English Teacher
We are looking for a dedicated English teacher with experience teaching within the PYP framework. The ideal candidate will design engaging lessons that support literacy development, foster creativity, and meet diverse student needs across the primary age range.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver English language instruction aligned with IB PYP principles
- Differentiate instruction to support individual learning styles
- Integrate inquiry-based methods to promote critical thinking and communication
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary planning
- Maintain a positive, student-centered classroom culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, English, or a related field
- Teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, IB Certificate)
- Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB or international setting
- Strong understanding of the PYP framework and early literacy development
- Excellent English language proficiency
- Effective classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy and eager to integrate digital tools in the classroom
