Role Overview: PYP Mathematics Teacher
We are looking for a dedicated Mathematics educator who can deliver PYP-aligned math instruction in a creative, hands-on, and student-focused manner. You will guide students through mathematical concepts using real-world contexts, inquiry-based strategies, and active learning methods that build numeracy skills and confidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Effective classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- Confidence in integrating technology into math instruction
- Self-motivated and collaborative with a commitment to ongoing professional learning
