Position Overview: PYP Science Teacher
The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework, fostering a strong foundation in scientific inquiry and conceptual understanding. You will guide students through hands-on experiments, observations, and collaborative investigations while integrating science into cross-curricular units of inquiry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, IB Certificate)
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB PYP setting
- In-depth knowledge of primary science education and inquiry-based learning
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to integrate digital tools into lessons
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to professional growth
- Collaborative and culturally responsive in a diverse school community
