About the Role: High School Counsellor
We are looking for a qualified School Counsellor with a strong background in student support services. You will play a key role in promoting mental health, resilience, and emotional intelligence among secondary students. Your responsibilities include providing individual and group counselling, crisis intervention, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and leadership to create a safe and inclusive school environment.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in school counselling or student wellbeing roles
- Proven understanding of adolescent development and mental health
- Ability to build trust with students and maintain professional boundaries
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Passion for working with diverse international student communities
- Self-driven, organized, and proactive in implementing counselling programmes
