Role Overview: Science/MDE Teacher (Maker-Design-Engineering)
As the MDE teacher, you will lead students through immersive learning experiences that combine science, engineering, design thinking, and technology. You will develop lessons that promote critical thinking, creativity, and innovation through hands-on projects using tools like 3D printers, robotics kits, and digital fabrication platforms.
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support cross-curricular learning and encourage students to take initiative in their own educational journeys.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent certification (QTS, PGCE, etc.)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge and experience with maker-based or project-based learning
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Tech-savvy, creative, and capable of integrating digital tools into the curriculum
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
