Role Overview: Science Teacher
The Science Teacher will teach middle and/or high school students, using inquiry-based methods aligned with international standards. This role requires someone who can create engaging lesson plans, foster scientific thinking, and inspire curiosity in the natural world.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving through practical experiments and research projects
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary and co-curricular activities
- Integrate educational technologies into lesson delivery
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related discipline
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years teaching experience
- Familiarity with international or bilingual curricula
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Self-motivated and committed to continuous professional development
