Role Overview: Science Teacher (KS3 & IGCSE)
As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students in Key Stage 3 and the IGCSE program. You will help students develop scientific literacy, problem-solving skills, and a curiosity for the natural world. A commitment to innovation, student-centered learning, and collaborative teaching will be essential in this role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related subject
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching IGCSE Science
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural school environment
- Proactive mindset with a passion for curriculum development
- Ability to integrate educational technology into teaching
- Willingness to participate in school events and co-curricular activities
