Role: Science Teacher
As a Science Teacher at MIGS, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 3 and IGCSE levels. You will use the Cambridge curriculum to build scientific literacy, promote inquiry-based learning, and encourage critical thinking in the classroom.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and teaching science lessons aligned with the Cambridge syllabus
- Preparing students for IGCSE science examinations
- Using formative and summative assessments to track and support student progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and share best practices
- Participating in school-wide activities and extracurricular initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum or UK National Curriculum
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Passion for teaching in a multicultural international school setting
