Science Teacher – UCSI International School Kuala Lumpur
UCSI International School (UIS) Kuala Lumpur is looking to appoint an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across relevant grade levels using the Cambridge curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with student needs
- Develop unit plans, lesson plans, and instructional materials
- Facilitate student experiments and scientific investigations
- Integrate technology into instruction to enhance learning outcomes
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress regularly
- Maintain up-to-date records of student performance and development
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and school-wide initiatives
- Support extracurricular science clubs or activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field
- PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience in an international or similar school setting
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Science with a proven track record of success
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for scientific inquiry and student engagement
