Role Overview: Teacher of Science (Physics Specialism)

As a Teacher of Science, you will lead engaging and challenging lessons in Physics while contributing to the broader science curriculum. You will work closely with colleagues and support students’ academic growth, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for scientific discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Physics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including IGCSE and A-Level
• Develop creative and differentiated lesson plans aligned with the British curriculum
• Track and assess student progress using a range of formative and summative methods
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery
• Support extracurricular science initiatives and school-wide learning goals
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related field
• Valid teaching license or qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a relevant international or British curriculum setting
• Deep understanding of Physics content and pedagogy
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
• Self-driven and able to integrate digital tools into teaching and learning
