Role Overview
As a Prep School Science Teacher, you will engage students in hands-on scientific inquiry, teaching them to think critically and apply knowledge across subjects. Your lessons will spark curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and encourage students to explore the natural world while preparing them for future academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality science lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
- Develop interactive, inquiry-based activities that bring science to life.
- Adapt teaching methods to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing meaningful feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects.
- Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and wider school initiatives.
- Support extracurricular activities and school events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to professional development and innovative teaching practices.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
