Role: Science Teacher
The Science Teacher will play a key role in delivering engaging science lessons that spark curiosity and develop essential problem-solving skills. By creating interactive learning experiences, the teacher will help students build a strong foundation in subjects like biology, chemistry, and physics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive and engaging Science lessons aligned with the AERO Common Core Plus curriculum.
- Use practical experiments, demonstrations, and technology to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts.
- Develop inquiry-based learning strategies that encourage students to ask questions, investigate ideas, and draw conclusions.
- Assess student performance through varied evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and active participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and contribute to curriculum development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent credential.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Science at the appropriate grade level.
- Strong understanding of AERO curriculum or other American educational frameworks.
- Proven ability to create engaging lessons that promote inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to support diverse learning needs.
