This school is based in Muscat, Oman and is looking for a Primary Science Teacher.

Position Overview:
Al Injaz Private School is seeking a passionate and skilled Primary Science Teacher to educate and inspire students in Grades 1–5. The successful candidate will bring the Cambridge curriculum to life through engaging lessons, hands-on experiments, and innovative teaching techniques. This role requires a strong foundation in science education, excellent classroom management, and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:

• Develop and deliver dynamic science lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum for primary-level students (Grades 1–5).
• Incorporate interactive activities and practical experiments to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts.
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and needs.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Design and administer assessments to monitor student progress and comprehension.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students grow academically.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and share updates with parents/guardians.

Student Engagement and Support:

• Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for scientific inquiry.
• Support individual student needs through differentiated instruction and personalized guidance.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration and respect.

Collaboration and Professional Development:

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and share best practices.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in science education and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field, plus a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

Professional Experience:

• 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably with the Cambridge curriculum at the primary level.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of primary-level science concepts and teaching strategies.
• Effective classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into science instruction.
