This school is based in Siem Reap, Cambodia and is looking for a High School Science Teacher – International Curriculum

Jay Pritzker Academy (JPA) is a registered international NGO. Our mission is to provide accessible, high quality education to talented and motivated children in Siem Reap province, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and language to succeed locally and globally. JPA is seeking passionate and motivated candidates to apply for a High School Science teaching position, delivering AP classes in Chemistry, Biology and/or Physics to our exceptional students.

Responsibilities
● Teach Chemistry, Biology and/or Physics to high school students, within the Pre-AP/AP framework.
● Support students’ academic and personal development in a positive manner.
● Develop curriculum content and resources.
● Prepare daily lesson plans and quarterly outlines.
● Assess and evaluate student knowledge and skills.
● Monitor and report student progress.
● Undertake continuing professional development.

Preferred Requirements
● Hold a teaching qualification and/or relevant degree in science, education or related field.
● Experience in working with high performing students in an international school setting.
● Demonstrable ability to support students in achieving outstanding academic results.
● Hardworking, honest and highly motivated.
● Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with children, parents and colleagues.
