Role Overview: Secondary Biology Teacher
We are seeking an experienced IGCSE Biology Teacher to deliver engaging and rigorous biology lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum. The successful candidate will create a stimulating classroom environment, promote critical thinking, and prepare students for academic success. Responsibilities include curriculum planning, hands-on lab instruction, assessment preparation, and contributing to school-wide science initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or a related science discipline
- Valid teaching license or recognized certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of experience teaching biology at the secondary level
- In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE Biology syllabus
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to use modern technologies to enhance science instruction
- Passion for education in a diverse, international Christian school setting
