Role Overview: Secondary Business Studies Teacher
As a Secondary Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that cover business concepts such as entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, operations, and economic decision-making. Your instruction will align with the British curriculum and encourage students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and understand global business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Business Studies to Key Stage 3 and IGCSE students
- Design creative and relevant lesson plans using the British curriculum
- Foster analytical and practical thinking through case studies and projects
- Track and assess student progress using formative and summative methods
- Engage in collaborative planning with faculty and contribute to department development
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Integrate technology and current events to enhance learning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or Education
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a British curriculum school
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
