Role Overview: Secondary Computer Science Teacher
As a Computer Science educator, you will design and deliver engaging lessons in coding, computer systems, and digital literacy. You will help students build strong computational thinking skills and prepare them for international qualifications. Collaboration with colleagues, involvement in school-wide initiatives, and participation in extracurricular activities form essential parts of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with international computer science curricula
- Foster creativity and analytical thinking through hands-on learning
- Prepare students for success in AP, A-Level, or similar international exams
- Integrate modern educational technologies to enhance classroom instruction
- Encourage responsible and ethical use of digital tools

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with international programs such as AP, A-Level, or IB
- Strong understanding of computer science concepts and teaching methods
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
