Role Overview: Secondary Computer Science Teacher

As a Secondary Computer Science Teacher, you will teach students at the lower and upper secondary levels, following the Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science syllabus. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging lessons on programming, data structures, computational thinking, and digital systems. You will also encourage students to explore the ethical and societal impacts of technology while building essential skills for academic and career success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction based on the IGCSE Computer Science curriculum
• Create lesson plans that develop coding, algorithmic thinking, and real-world tech applications
• Use educational technology and digital tools to support student learning
• Track student progress through continuous assessment and constructive feedback
• Support ICT-related clubs, competitions, and innovation initiatives
• Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum
