Role Overview: Secondary Economics Teacher (A-Level)
As a key member of the high school faculty, you will teach A-Level Economics to senior secondary students. Your role will involve designing interactive lesson plans, delivering exam-focused instruction, and fostering critical thinking in real-world economic contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach A-Level Economics to high school students
- Create engaging, student-centered lesson plans aligned with Cambridge or equivalent curricula
- Assess student progress and provide actionable feedback
- Prepare learners for external exams and university-level study
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects
- Support academic clubs or school-wide initiatives related to business or economics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, etc.)
- Minimum two years of experience teaching Economics, preferably A-Level
- Familiarity with international curricula (A-Level, IGCSE, or AP)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- High English language proficiency
