Role Overview: Secondary Economics Teacher
The successful candidate will teach Economics at IGCSE and A-Level, guiding students to develop analytical thinking, data interpretation skills, and a strong understanding of global economic principles. You will play a critical role in preparing students for university-level economics and related fields. Your responsibilities will include lesson planning, assessments, and curriculum enrichment in line with Cambridge standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a closely related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary or international school
- Expertise in the Cambridge International Curriculum preferred
- Strong command of subject matter and effective classroom management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proactive, independent, and committed to professional growth
- Experience with educational technology and digital tools to support learning
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse international school community
