Role Overview: Secondary Economics Teacher
As a Secondary Economics Teacher, you will deliver engaging and academically rigorous lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. You will foster a dynamic classroom culture that supports critical thinking, real-world application, and student-centered learning. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to innovate curriculum design, monitor student progress, and provide feedback to help learners thrive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related subject
- Valid teaching certification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching secondary economics or a similar subject
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Economics curriculum is preferred
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous professional development
- Comfortable integrating technology into lesson delivery
- Able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
