Role: Secondary ELA Teacher

The selected teacher will deliver high-quality instruction in English Language Arts at the secondary level. Responsibilities include teaching literature, academic writing, reading comprehension, and speaking skills. You will support students’ literacy development through differentiated instruction, engage them in critical thinking, and foster a love for reading and writing. You will also contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities such as debate, drama, or creative writing clubs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least two years of relevant teaching experience in a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of English language and literature
• Familiarity with IB English curriculum is preferred
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Passion for international education and cross-cultural collaboration
• Initiative in leading or contributing to school-wide projects
