Role Overview: Secondary English Teacher
The Secondary English Teacher will teach English to lower and upper secondary students across government schools. The ideal candidate brings subject expertise, student-centered teaching strategies, and a commitment to helping learners achieve fluency and critical literacy skills. Lessons should align with the national curriculum and promote strong academic performance.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- A valid teaching license or internationally recognized certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a relevant secondary setting
- Expertise in English language pedagogy and curriculum delivery
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- High level of spoken and written English proficiency
- A collaborative mindset and cultural adaptability
- Ability to integrate educational technology into classroom teaching
