Position Overview: Secondary English Teacher
As a Secondary English Teacher at MCQ, you will teach English language and literature across middle and high school levels. You will design lessons that develop analytical thinking, literary appreciation, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver English lessons aligned with international and national standards
- Guide students in developing reading, writing, and critical thinking skills
- Prepare students for international qualifications such as IGCSE and A-Level
- Create engaging and differentiated learning experiences for diverse learners
- Work collaboratively with other teachers to promote cross-disciplinary learning
- Contribute to extracurricular programs and school events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
