Role Overview: Secondary English Teacher

As the Secondary English Teacher, you will teach English language and literature to middle and high school students. You will plan engaging lessons, foster a positive classroom culture, and guide students in developing strong communication, writing, and analytical skills. Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum will support student achievement in IGCSE or A-Level exams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in secondary-level teaching
• Experience with the Cambridge International curriculum preferred
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Strong skills in classroom management and instructional planning
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Enthusiasm for innovation, collaboration, and professional development
• Comfort using educational technology to enhance learning
