Role Overview: Secondary English Teacher
We seek an inspiring and dedicated English teacher who can deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4. You will focus on building students’ literacy, analytical thinking, and creative writing skills while fostering a deep appreciation for English literature and language.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
- Support students in preparing for IGCSE English Language and Literature exams
- Integrate technology and innovative practices into teaching
- Provide constructive feedback to promote student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and drive school initiatives
- Encourage student participation in debate, creative writing, and public speaking
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or international equivalent)
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary level
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic about working in a multicultural and collaborative environment
