Role Overview: Secondary English Teacher
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons to students across key stages. You will plan creative activities that strengthen language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The role requires commitment to academic standards and a supportive approach that motivates learners of varying abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature to lower and upper secondary students
- Design and deliver interactive, well-structured lessons
- Integrate critical thinking, media literacy, and writing development into daily instruction
- Use varied assessment tools to monitor and support student progress
- Provide meaningful feedback and maintain academic records
- Contribute to school-wide literacy and extracurricular programs

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum or other international frameworks
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Independent, motivated, and innovative in curriculum planning
