Position: Secondary English Teacher (Native Speaker)
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will engage students in literature, writing, and communication while developing their analytical and language skills. You will teach Key Stage 3 and IGCSE-level courses, using the Cambridge English curriculum as your foundation for instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
- Design interactive, differentiated lessons aligned with Cambridge standards
- Help students prepare for IGCSE English exams and coursework
- Promote literacy, discussion, and independent learning in the classroom
- Foster a respectful, inclusive environment where all students thrive
- Contribute to co-curricular activities such as writing clubs or drama performances
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, or Education
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching at the secondary level
- Native-level proficiency in spoken and written English
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum is highly preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for language education and working in an international setting
- Proactive, student-focused, and committed to professional growth
