Role: Secondary English Teacher
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will teach literature, composition, and grammar to students in middle and high school. You’ll develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the ACE curriculum, support student literacy, and foster critical thinking. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues on school-wide initiatives and contribute to extracurricular programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
- Familiarity with the ACE or American curriculum preferred
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Willingness to embrace Christian educational values and participate in a faith-based community
