Position Overview: Secondary English Teacher (Native Speaker)

As a Secondary English Teacher, you will lead engaging, literature-rich instruction that builds strong analytical and communication skills. You will create a dynamic classroom environment where students thrive academically while developing their voice and perspective.

Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature to middle and high school students based on the Cambridge or IB curriculum
• Design lessons that promote reading comprehension, writing fluency, and critical thinking
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom that encourages dialogue and expression
• Differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs of diverse students
• Integrate technology and interactive learning tools to support educational outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and best teaching practices
• Maintain open and consistent communication with students, parents, and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or internationally recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary level
• Native-level English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset and dedication to continuous improvement
• Experience in international schools or with the Cambridge/IB curriculum is an advantage
