Role Overview: Secondary English Teacher (Native English Speaker)
The Secondary English Teacher will teach English Language Arts to middle and high school students. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that strengthen students’ literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills. You will use diverse instructional methods and integrate technology to support learning outcomes. Active collaboration with colleagues and participation in school-wide initiatives are also expected.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in secondary English
- Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and instructional design
- Effective classroom management and differentiation strategies
- Passion for working in a multicultural school setting
- Proficient in integrating technology to support student learning
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
