Role Summary: Secondary Fine Arts Teacher
As a Fine Arts Teacher at ISQ, you will lead visual arts instruction for students in middle and high school. You will guide students through various artistic media and styles while helping them develop both technical proficiency and personal expression. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for arts education and a commitment to nurturing talent in a diverse classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach fine arts to secondary students across grade levels
- Design engaging and differentiated lessons based on international best practices
- Promote creativity, cultural awareness, and personal expression through visual art
- Organize student exhibitions, showcases, and contributions to school events
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects
- Maintain clear and constructive communication with students and parents
- Integrate digital tools and art technologies into the classroom
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a relevant role
- Familiarity with U.S. or international school curricula
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Passion for nurturing student creativity in a global learning environment
